Matt & Casey
We have been hoping to grow our family for a long time and are grateful for the option of adoption. Thank you for taking the time to view our profile. We know we will provide a loving, safe, and happy life for your child. By choosing us, you'll help us complete our family and give us the privilege of loving and supporting your child with all our hearts.
Why We Chose Adoption

We are so fortunate to have two wonderful sons, Finley and Chase. We always dreamed of a large family, as we both come from big families full of siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We dealt with a long road of infertility and after many rounds of IVF and heartbreaking miscarriages we knew we had to move on. Our longing for a third baby and feeling complete as a family never left us and that's when we landed on adoption. We are so grateful for this opportunity.
Finley and Chase are energetic, athletic and creative. They love playing independently, together and with us- Bingo being our current favorite family game. Finley is into all sports, but plays soccer, baseball and basketball. He is very social and excels in math. Chase is very silly and is obsessed with Hot Wheels cars- he doesn't leave home without at least 6 of them. He is cuddly and affectionate and loves to sing. Both boys have been asking for another brother or sister for years now and can't wait to be big brothers together!
Qualities We Admire in Each Other

Matt About Casey: Casey is an amazing partner and a true supermom to our boys. She's charming, fun, and lights up every room she enters. She has a natural warmth that brings people together and leaves a positive impression on everyone she meets. Incredibly kind and selfless, Casey is always there when you need her without being asked. She balances a successful career with being fully present for our boys, never missing a moment that matters. From managing our household like a pro to becoming a fantastic cook who keeps us well fed, Casey does it all with grace and love. She truly lives by the motto "family first," and we're so lucky to have her.
Casey About Matt: Matt is kind, generous, hardworking. He is an incredibly hands-on dad, spending every night after work building with Legos, playing basketball or taking our boys on walks. He is very tech-savvy and can usually be found late at night creating new app, or working on a website he built. He embodies our family value of generosity by looking for community projects where our family can be involved and provide support. I am so grateful for his easy-going personality, ability to laugh easily and always carrying a positive and optimistic attitude.
Adoption in Our Family
We have had the privilege of seeing adoption prove to be such a positive experience in three different ways.
Our brother and sister-in-law adopted twins at the age of two after 10+ years of infertility. We were so glad to be a help to them during that time period as they are from out of state but the adoption took place near our home. We were able to witness the early days of their family coming together and overcoming some significant obstacles. Today, they are an incredibly well-adjusted family with the twins thriving in 1st grade. We always look forward to seeing them and our boys love playing with their cousins.
Neighbors on our block adopted a little boy at 9 weeks old. This little boy has grown into our son Finley's best friend and we see him daily. They are a mixed-race family with the adoptive parents being white and their son being black. While their adoption is not open with the birth parents, they are open about the adoption with their son. This has led to a great educational opportunity for our sons and very positive conversations as we prepare to adopt ourselves.
One of Casey's closest work friends adopted their daughter as a newborn through an open adoption process after years of infertility. Their daughter is now 9 and they have been able to keep a very positive and open relationship with the birth mother.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in a wonderful town not too far from a major city. Our town is in a fantastic school district and we live on a quiet cul-de-sac across the street from the middle school. We have many playgrounds and walking trails nearby as well as fantastic community center. We have quite a few neighbors with young children and we have created fun traditions with them like trick-or-treating, end of summer water nights, BBQ's and more. We have also gotten very involved with the elementary school and have created a wonderful community there.

We live in a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with a nice, big finished basement. We also have a large deck with a patio and a swing set. Our favorite room in our home is our kitchen, where we spend most of our time. We eat our meals as a family at a big island (with lots of room for a high chair!), play with play-dough, play games, do homework, paint pictures. It really is the heart of our home. We spend a lot of time outside, in our driveway with chalk or playing basketball. Its often that the kids on the street gather at our house to play, riding their bikes or scooters to meet up. We belong to a pool not far from home and can be found there most weekends in the summer.
Our Extended Families

We are so lucky to have a big extended family that lives close by. All grandparents are incredibly present and active in our lives. Casey's siblings are also very close and enjoy seeing each other regularly. Casey's sister has two young girls, and we often do family activities with them like go to the Zoo or meet at a playground. Our boys love playing with their cousins frequently. The kids love to play outside together or we will play charades as a group. We also love Sunday night family dinners with extended family and holiday celebrations are done in a big way. We love to travel with family and typically take one to two vacations a year as a big group. Our family could not be more excited to welcome your child as a niece/nephew and granddaughter/grandson. We have had tremendous support from all of them throughout the process of trying to grow our family.

From Us to You

Words cannot fully express our gratitude for you taking the time to view our profile and learn about us as a couple and family. We can't wait to learn more about you as well! It is not lost on us the magnitude of this decision and we hope to be a support to you along the way.
We have been a couple for a long time- together for 17 years and married for nearly 10. Our marriage has been filled with love, adventure and fun. We are so fortunate to have two wonderful sons, Finley and Chase. However, we know that our family is not yet complete. We have so much more love to give, and our home is ready to welcome your child. We know that Finley and Chase will make incredible big brothers, and the excitement in our household is palpable as they consistently ask, "When is the baby coming?" Beyond the four of us, there is a big, extended family also ready to surround your child with love and affection.
We understand that every child is unique, and we are excited to celebrate their individuality, embrace their heritage, and help them understand the immense love that led to this decision—both yours and ours.
We can't wait to hear if it's a boy or a girl and enjoy those first few months of newborn cuddles. We can't wait to see their first steps and hear their first words. We can't wait for our first Christmas morning together and taking our family photo on the stairs before running to the Christmas tree. We can't wait to see their personality develop and how they will bond with their older brothers. We can't wait to see if they're drawn to sports, music, writing, or something entirely their own. We are eager to support them every step of the way wait to share all of these moments with you as they grow.
We are a fun-loving, down-to-earth family, always striving to create special memories together, whether at home or with extended family and friends. Our family values include leading with kindness, acting with generosity, and that family comes first. Our home is not quiet! We are active and playful. We all have a great sense of humor and love to joke and laugh. We are excited to include your child in this energetic and loving environment.
We are committed to staying in contact with you, sharing photos and updates, and are open to meeting in person annually. We will respect your wishes and take our responsibility seriously, understanding the depth of sacrifice that this decision entails. Our hope is to provide peace of mind, knowing your child will be loved, cherished, supported, and encouraged to pursue their dreams.
Thank you so much for considering us to be part of your child's life. We are truly honored.
